Strikingly handsome 'blue-eyed' Pakistani tea seller is breaking the internet (photos)
Blue eyes, rugged looks, a piercing gaze and all things synonymous with a superstar are being flaunted by this 'chaiwala' tea stall worker in Pakistani capital of Islamabad.
When photos of the dashingly handsome Pakistani identified as 25-year-old Arshar Khan was shared on Instagram on Monday, online users fell weak at the knees and within hours he turned into social media sensation, garnering hundreds of thousands of shares across the web.
While his photos began breaking the Internet, he had no idea of the stir he was causing around the world - because he doesn't even own a mobile phone! According to the Times of India, people on social media are calling him Pakistan's nuclear weapon, one that can be used for carrying out surgical strikes on Indian girls.
Pakistani photographer Jiah Ali, who shared his pictures on Instagram told the International Business Times that she happened to spot him in the Itwar Bazaar area of Islamabad during her participation in a photo-walk, a few months back.
In an interview with Khaleej Times, Ali tells a little more about her encounter with the once mystery man.
"I actually went back to the market this morning to see if I could find him. When I told him that his picture went viral he was a bit confused and very shy, but he sheepishly said 'thanks'. I found out that he didn't even own a phone."
"I was lucky because in the first two shots he was looking down, but then I got two pictures of him looking up. That's when I noticed his eyes.
Ali snapped the viral picture more than one month ago. She said she didn't post it immediately because she had "better pictures to showcase"
"It was those eyes. That's essentially what got the world looking."
Despite his striking good looks, it was actually his tea-making skills that first attracted the part-time photographer to him. During a photo walk through the Sunday markets in her home city of Islamabad, Ali was stopped in her tracks by the master chaiwala.
"I was amazed by the amount of effort he put into his work. The way he made the tea, it was with so much dedication."
And when he noticed her snapping away, she said he became shy and hid in his stall. Following the picture's initial post, Ali said huge crowds have begun gathering at Khan's market stall, and we can bet you it's not for the tea.
"His friends on the nearby stalls were saying how popular he has gotten to be and joked that he might be kidnapped. I also heard that a talent manager has signed him up."
Since posting the pics, Ali has equally gained in popularity. With around 3,200 followers on Instagram, she has now climbed to more than 24,000, and her Facebook photography page has grown from 85,000 likes to more than 200,000.
"I even had a press company reach out to me asking me to drop my copyright of the image for a large sum of money. I declined though."

Angelina Jolie and her kids were interviewed Tuesday by 2 FBI agents ... primarily to determine where exactly the incident between Brad Pitt and 15-year-old son Maddox went down.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... 2 FBI agents paid Angelina a visit at her Malibu home and spent more than 3 hours there. Well-placed sources tell us there is not an official investigation ... the agency is in a "fact-finding" stage to determine if there's evidence to warrant an investigation.
We're told the agents wanted Angelina and the kids to walk through the incident step-by-step, but they spent a lot of time trying to pin down the location of the airplane at the time it happened.
We're told it matters if the plane was not in U.S. airspace when the argument went down. The FBI also asked numerous questions about what happened on the ground when the plane refueled in Minnesota. There's some question as to whether Minnesota officials might have jurisdiction.
Sources tell us Angelina was cooperative but her endgame is for the whole thing to just go away.
As we reported, it's highly unlikely the FBI will press the case.

Recession in high places! Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola is no longer a billionaire in dollars. According to Forbes, he's now worth $550million following a massive drop in the stock price of his company, Forte Oil. Read the report from Forbes below...
As at the close of trading on Friday October 14th, Forte Oil’s share price plunged to a one-year low of N145 ($0.44) per share, down from an all-time high of N342 ($1.1) in March this year when Forbes published its annual ranking of the world’s richest people.
Apart from the tumble in Forte Oil’s stock price, Otedola’s fortune has also been adversely affected by a central bank devaluation of the Naira in June. In dollar terms, the devaluation in addition to Forte’s floundering share price has knocked about $1.3 billion off the value of Otedola’s fortune which was pegged at $1.8 billion in March.
Otedola, who is Forte Oil Plc’s Chairman, is now worth only $550 million as at the close of business of Friday, according to the FORBES’ billionaires’ database.
Femi Otedola was unavailable for comments. However, an analyst at a Lagos-based Investment bank hinted that the share price drop may not be unconnected to the current recession in Nigeria that has witnessed 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth with inflation soaring to levels as high as 17%.

Daring filmmakers get close and personal with crocodiles in a habitat in Mexico
Wildlife biologist Forrest Galante and cameraman Mark Romanov went to clear waters in an undisclosed location in the Caribbean, south-east of the Gulf of Mexico, to get close and personal with six colossal crocodiles and capture them on camera.
In order to approach the wild crocodiles, the pair mimicked a large adult crocodile by wearing a special scaly wetsuit. Their tactics were successful and they captured the movements of the large beasts below water. However, It was still a risky move as a crocodile once tried to take a bite out of the cameraman, who kept filming and managed to move away in time. More photos below...

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested 37-year-old Razak Adekoya for beating his 10 year-old son to death. Spokesman of the command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident said that the deceased, Waris, was subjected to beating by his father over allegation of stealing.
Preliminary investigation revealed several marks on the body of the boy as a result of series of torture he suffered.
Oyeyemi said the suspect was arrested by policemen attached to Ago-Iwoye Division, following a tip off from members of the community.
The remains of the boy have been deposited at St. Joseph Catholic Hospital Mortuary, Oke-Agbo, Ijebu-Igbo for autopsy.
According to The Nigerian Tribune, the state Commissioner of Police Ahmed Iliyasu ordered that the suspect be transferred to Homicide Section of Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Department, Eleweran Abeokuta for further investigation.

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Bengaluru, India have arrested a Nigerian man in a cheating case.
The suspect identified as Christian D, 28, was on the run after the Cyber Crime police registered a case against him in September 2015. According to the police, Christian, who had come to Bengaluru on student visa would shoot pictures of cars costing between Rs 10 and Rs 15 lakh parked in front of business establishments and showrooms. He then posts these images on an online classifieds platform, by quoting the price ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
An industrialist had parked his car at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) parking lot before going abroad. Christiana shot the picture of the car and posted it on the OLX offering it for Rs 5 lakh, said the police.
A man contacted Christiana wanting to buy the car. Christiana claimed that he was in Delhi and told him to see the car which he had parked at the KIA parking lot. Christiana asked him to transfer Rs 5 lakh to his account and he would hand over the car once he returned to the city. The man trusted Christian and transferred Rs 5 lakh.
"Christian switched off his cellphone after he withdrew Rs five lakh. The man approached the Cyber Crime police and lodged a complaint. The police had also received five similar complaints," said a senior CID officer. The police registered a case against Christiana and raided his house at TC Palya in September 2015. He, however, managed to escape. The police recovered a laptop, two mobile phones and five SIM cards from him. The police issued a lookout notice against Christian.
When he landed at the Nigeria airport, police arrested and handed him over to the Indian authorities. He was produced before a local court and the judge remanded him in judicial custody till October 19, added the police.
